This sixties two-piece suit is a well-sewn and unique set from Sylvia Mills. Made of a lightweight synthetic fabric, tricel or similar, that features a bold green pattern.
The rounded collar and faux flower decor make a stylish 1960s statement, as does the oversized button on the jacket. The jacket has a boxy and glamorous cropped cut, with three-quarter-length sleeves, perfect for matching with a pair of vintage gloves. It's a well-constructed piece, with Stafflex interfacing to structure the front of the jacket.
The skirt is fastened at the side with a metal zip. The sleeves can be turned up into cuffs if you prefer.
Both pieces of the suit are fully lined in green viscose or similar.
There are two small stains on or close to the collar, and some discolouration on the underarms of the jacket. The busy print disguises these quite well. They may be improved by a trip to the dry cleaners.
