Kuchofuku Co.Ltd collaboration rain jacket. Often seen in construction and welding sites, and increasingly on the street, this air conditioned jacket features a battery powered fan.
An novel take on the concept of keeping cool by putting on more clothing and inspired by rainy situations which call for the wear of long sleeved clothing for extended periods of time.
Anchored by the “air-circulation system” in the back, a flap can be lifted by pulling on nylon tape to reveal the fan underneath, allowing it to operate at its fullest potential.
A fine balance of the functional and ornamental, the fan can be covered or even taken off for the jacket to be worn as is.

Micro ripstop nylon, 3 layer waterproof fabric.
Soft yet lightweight when compared to traditional stiff 3 layer fabrics that are used in shell jackets.
